Samantha Mosiwa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science obtained from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College in 2016. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Political Science at the same college. Prior joining the department she worked for Centre for Child Development and Research as a Programs Associate. Samantha has research experience obtained from Goal Malawi and Institute of Public Opinion and Research where she has worked as a research assistant. She has done part-time lecturing in the Department of Fine and Performing Arts where she was teaching Poverty and Inequality. Currently she teaches African Politics and Comparative Politics undergraduate courses in the department. Her research areas of interest are gender, development and governance.
Chancellor College is the largest among the constituent colleges of the University of Malawi. Ever since its establishment, the college has produced graduates who have gone on to become leaders in various sectors of Malawian society.
